Brook sits a little over a mile west of Wormley, beyond Sandhills and the wooded buffer that separates the two, occupying gently lower ground on the same Greensand Ridge that runs through much of this part of Surrey.

Almost the whole hamlet falls inside the Surrey Hills area of outstanding natural beauty, giving it the same wooded, hilly backdrop found in several of the villages closer to Godalming itself.
